One the best Fedoskino artists Alexey Chirkov created this amazing museum quality lacquer box "The Full Moon". The artwork depicts three wolves in the middle of the frozen night forest.This box continues Chirkov's series of works dedicated to wildlife.
The whole scenery shimmers dramatically as it has been painted over a thin silver paint and mother-of-pearl. Gold paint is used to detail and highlight almost each element of the composition. The details of the painting are very fine and dramatic.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of composition, the box is covered wth layers of translucent lacquer. The work is signed with the artist's name.
The size of the artwork is 8.5 x 6.5 x1.5"
