This amazing Russian Lacquer box "Russian Troika Ride On Neva River" was hand painted by a very talented artist Zhukov A. in the village of Kholui. A Troika is a type of Russian carriage being pulled by the three horses.Beautiful red horses are flying through the snow and ice on the bank of Neva river. In the background we see famous landmarks osf Saint Petersburg: The Church of Spilled Blood, Peter and Paul Fortress, Saint Isaak's Cathedral and Hermitage The size of this beautiful large box is 9.25" x 7" x 2".
