"Winter Troika" is a traditional painted Russian lacquer box depicting the three horse ride. The talented artist, Surikova, delicately hand painted this jewelry box in the village of Mstera using colorful egg tempera paints. It is hinged at the top of the lid and signed on the bottom of the box. What can be better than a jolly troika ride in the winter white snow!
