Russian lacquered box “ Tea Party” was painted by a well known artist Gromova from the old town of Fedoskino.
Two lovely laies are enjoying warm afternoon in the garden surrounded by their furry friends. The centerpiece of the afternoon tea is golden samovar on the table, a popular atribute to the Russian tea tradition from the past.
The size of the box is 6" x 4.5" x 1.7" . The artwork is constructed from papier mache, mother of pearl, oil paint,gold leaf and lacquer. The box is painted with a fine detail and very collectible and would make a great addition to one's collection.
