This very nice vintage Russian  double Icon "Mother Of God And Christ" was made in the workshop of Russian orthodox church in the village of Sofrino. It is made out of wood with gold silvered foil mounted on wood and hinged on the side. On the back of the icon it says in Russian "Save and protect"
The size of the open icon is 11" x 7.5" x 0.2" It would make a great gift to someone you love.
