This beautiful hand-made and hand-painted Russian religious egg is made out of solid wood. The egg is hand painted by the well known Russian artist, Volchenko S. The Russian wooden egg was made in the city of Sergiev Posad, Russia in the Zagorsk region. The egg comes with a hand-made stand and the heigh of the egg and stand is 9.5". This is a beautiful Russian egg with a theme of Mother and Child. The egg was painted in a Palekh style which is very similar to the original iconography used on all Russian religious icons.
