This beautiful Russian Matryoshka nesting doll was hand painted and hand made in Russia. The size of this nesting doll is 9" in height and 5" in diameter and the doll has a total of 10 nests. This doll is titled "On the Bench" and was painted by the artist Savalyeva from Sergiev Posad, Russia. This doll was painted with water color and gold leaf. This is an uncommon technique for painting nesting dolls. The doll was made in 1996.
