This very nice Russian lacquered box titled "On a Date" it is based on the famous fairy tale Ruslan and Lyudmila.This lacquered box was painted in Palehk, Russia in 1988 by famous artist Vasilenko. The size of the lacquer 5.4 x 3.2 x 1.25 in inches; materials : papier mache, egg tempera, gold leaf and lacquer. The item is a collectible, very memorable gift for generations to enjoy.
