This set of seven Matryoshka nesting eggs is a fine example of Russian artwork, hand crafted and personally selected from the artists that we have worked with for many years. The unique author's design features a famous Russian fairy tale "Emelya and the Magic Pike”. This nesting doll is hand painted and hand made in Sergiyev Posad, Moscow (Zagorsk) in 2001 by Russian artist Petrova. The matryoshka is 7.5 inches tall and 3.3 inches in diameter. This piece has a total of 7 nests.
