Exquisite museum quality Russian nesting doll Magic Carpet And The Firebird was hand made and hand painted by a talented artist V. Stepkaeva from St.Petersurg, Russia.
The doll has total fifteen nesting dolls painted in tradition of Fedoskino lacquer art style. Each one has a different scene from beloved folk tale. The doll is adored with colorful and intricate golden flowers, leaves and ornaments and covered with many layers of transparent shiny lacquer. The artwork is signed on the bottom of the largest doll and stands 12 inches tall.
