Golubenkov is well known as one of the top artists of the Fedoskino Art school. This lacquered box depicts portrait of a beautiful young girl. This lacquered box was painted in a realistic style of old masterpieces and artist did a great job of capturing the sun shining towards the girls face creating photographic effect. This one-of-a-kind piece was painted in the village of Fedoskino in late 1990's. Sergey Ivanovich Golubenkov was born in 1960 in a village of Marfino where he now resides.
