Museum quality Russian lacquer box "Hide And Seek" was painted by wellknown Fedoskino artist Gromova M. This exqusite lacquer miniature boosts very rich colors, amazing detail and composition based on famous painting by 19th century artist Konstantin Makovsky who's works you can find in museums all over the world. The box is constructed from paper-mache, henged from the top and decorated with golden border and golden floral ornaments on the sides. Underneath of the painting artist inserted mother of pearl wich shines through the laquer and make miniature come alive. The lid of the artwork is signed by the artist inthe lower right corner. The surfaces and interior of the box are perfectly smooth and shiny.
