Tiny delicate lines all over the artwork imitate the texture of the precious stone. Inside the pastel blue colors gently become light pink with golden roses decorating lid and bottom of this amazing masterpiece. Lacquered miniature is signed in the lower part of mother of pearl.the size of the box is 5.5" x 5.2" x 1". It is definitely museum quality piece. The box is constructed from paper-mache.
