Russian lacquer box "Alyonushka And Brother Ivanushka was hand made and hand painted in town of Fedoskino by a gifted artist V. Rizhikov in 1995.The miniature is based on a popular Russian folk tale "Sister Alyonushka and brother Ivanushka". This is a large box decorated with intricate gold leaf ornaments and mother of pearl inlaid in Russian girl's traditional dress. The box is hinged on the top and the size of the a lacquered miniature is 9" x 6.75" x 2.5". This beautiful artwork would make a great addition to one's collection or very nice gift for special occasion.
