Russian Lacquer box Alyonushka was hand made and hand painted by atalented and well known Fedoskino artist Streltsova. The miniature is based on beloved Russian folk tale "Sister Alyonushka And Brother Ivanushka". The artwork is executed with amazing detail and intricacy . Streltsova is using very thin brush with few squirell hairs to paint golden accents and the characters of the fairy tale. The shape of the box is unusual and the box is hinged from the top, signed by the artist in the right corner of the miniature.
