Russian lacquered box "Winter Games" was handpainted by A. Shemarov, one of the best artists of Palekh art school.
His style is unique and easily recognizable.  This interesting artwork is  painted all around on five sides with very fine detail and lavishly decorated with tiny strokes of gold paint. Each panel of the beautiful box has different  winter scenes.
The shape, the intricacy of painting, the detail makes this box  very collectible. 
The size of the lacquered box is 5" x 4" x 3"
