Alphonse Mucha was a Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist famous for his distinctive style.His works featured beautiful young women in flowing robes surrounded by lush flowers.Artist often used pale pastel colors.Mucha became internationally famous after 1900 Universal Exhibition in Paris.
This very nice Russian lacquer box was created by Fedoskino artist Markova T., painted with oil paint, gold leaf on mother of pearl.
Size of the box is 5.75" x 3.25" x 1.3"
