This very unique Russian Lacquered Box is titled "The Swan Princess" and is based on the famous Russian Fairy Tale: The Swan Princess. This box has a very unusual shape for a Palekh box, it is shaped like a shell which is fairly uncommon for Palekh boxes. The lacquered box was painted by the artist Kuzmenko and the size of this lacquered box is 4" x 3.75" x 1.25".
