This cute Russian lacquer box is titled "The Music of Angels". This box depicts two beautiful Angels sitting, one is playing the harp and the other is listening. The artist paints this box in very soft and pretty pastel colors. The artist uses gold leaf to accentuate parts of the boxes and make them shine. This box has also an elaborate painted back with a freestyle mosaic of paints. This Russian lacquer box was painted by the artist with initials S. E. M. from the village of Fedoskino, Russia.
