This very unique, one of a kind, Russian Lacquer Box is titled "The Mistress of Malachite Mountain" and is based on the famous Russian fairy tale. This lacquer box is made in the shape of a sphere and is painted fully all around, the spehere also opens up to reveal a cylindrical storage compartment. This Russian lacquer box was painted by the famous artist Kuklin from the village of Kholui. The size of this Russian lacquered box is 5" in diameter and 5" in height.
