This very beautiful Russian Matryoshka nesting doll was hand painted and hand made. The doll was made in Sergiev Posad by the Russian artist Romanov. The size of this nesting doll is 13" in height and 5.5" in diameter and the doll has a total of fifteen nests. The title of this nesting doll is "The Golden Fish" and is based on a fairy tale. The nesting doll was painted in 1997.
