This very unique Russian Wooden Santa was hand painted and carved by the Russian artist with initials A.K. from the village of Sergiev Posad. The size of this Russian Santa is 8" x 8.5" x 3". The Santa is carved out of solid oak wood and is then painted, lacquered, and polished and signed on the bottom. This Santa is very unique because the Santa is shown riding on a bear instead of his normal stance. This is very unusual because most carvings typically depict a normal standing Santa. This is a very collectible piece and would make a great present or addition to one's collection.
