This very unique Russian Wooden Santa was hand painted and carved by a Russian artist from the village of Sergiev Posad. This Russian Santa is 6" in height and 12" in length. The Santa is carved out of solid oak wood and is then painted, lacquered, and polished and signed on the bottom. This Santa is very unique because the Santa is shown riding on a red sleigh instead of in his normal stance, and the sleigh is being pulled by a Russian bear instead of reign deer. This is very unusual because most carvings typically depict a normal standing Santa. This is a very collectible piece and would make a great present or addition to one's collection.
