This beautiful Russian Matryoshka nesting doll was hand painted and hand made in the village of Sergiev-Posad, Russia. This nesting doll was painted by the artist, Turchinskaya, and it is signed on the bottom. This nesting doll has a total of 15 pieces and the last pieces get very small but are still hand-painted and hand made. The nesting doll stands 7.5" tall and every doll features different Russian scenery painted in a landscape painting fashion. This nesting doll is one of a kind and collectible, it would make a great gift for anyone. It was painted in 1996.
