The Russian wooden egg was made in the city of Sergiev Posad, Russia in the Zagorsk region. The egg comes with a hand-made stand and the heigh of the egg and stand is 7.25". This is a beautiful Russian egg with a theme of Mother and Child. The egg was painted in a Palekh style which is very similar to the original iconography used on all Russian religious icons.
