This incredibly beautiful, museum-quality Russian Matryoshka nesting doll was made in the Pavolvski Posad, Russia. This doll is very unique in that each piece has a hand-carved piece framing it. The carvings were done by the well known Russian artist Shivikov V. V. and the painting was done by the well known Russian artist Polyakov V. A. This gorgeous nesting doll has a total of fifteen pieces including the carvings, it features various religious scenes and is title Our Lady of Kazan. The size of this nesting doll is 17" in height and 7.5" in diameter. This doll is very collectible and incredibly beautiful, it is painted completely on 24, gold leaf.
