This is an extremely rare, museum quality Russian lacquered box. This box was painted by the master artist Sergey Kozlov. Kozlov is considered by most one of the best and most famous artists from the village of Fedoskino, Russia. His works are exhibited in galleries, museums, private collections, and catalogs all over the world. The title of this exquisite Russian lacquered box is "Mushrooms". This piece in particular is extremely rare. It is not a typical scene which Sergey Kozlov is known for. His more common boxes are typically St. Petersburg city scapes, but every once in a while he paints something completely unique and different. The box is painted all around seamlessly, it has 18k gold ant sculptures added to the surface. This box is a treasure and we will never have anything similar to this box again.
