This gorgeous Russian lacquer box was painted by the very famous Russian artist Dubovikov from the village of Fedoskino, Russia. Dubovikov was a very well known and respected artist who passed away several years ago. His boxes are very hard to find and even harder to get lately, they are featured in many books, galleries and private collections around the world. This box is titled Moose in the Forest and depicts two Moose surrounded by an enchanting winter landscape. Dubovikov has a very unique and realistic style of painting and his works can be identified almost immediately. This size of this museum quality lacquered box is 7.5" x 6.75" x 1" and the pictures do not come close in capturing the boxes actual beauty.
