This beautiful Russian Matryoshka Nesting Doll has a traditional floral design. This nesting doll is hand painted and hand made in Sergiyev Posad, Moscow (Zagorsk). The miniature Matryoshka stands 6 inches tall but has a total of 10 pieces, some of the last pieces get incredibly small, but are still hand painted and made. The nesting doll is a symbol of Russian art and culture and is collectible. Each nesting doll has a unique floral pattern design. This Matryoshka is also lacquered creating a beautiful shiny finish and the artist uses gold leaf. This Matryoshka doll was painted by the Russian artist Khasanov.
