This great Russian lacquered box is titled "Angels". This box depicts angels playing in the clouds. The scene is well painted in a realistic style. The box is constructed out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, and the village of Fedoskino. This lacquered box was painted by Levko T. from the village of Fedoskino, Russia in the year 2009.
