Rogatov is one of the most known and acclaimed names in painting Russian Lacquered Boxes. This gorgeous box "Angel" is incredibly unique because it was painted by two Rogatov's. Rogotav S. and Rogatov M. who are husband and wife from the village of Fedoskino, Russia.. This makes this box very rare and unique. Both artists signed the back of the box and this is almost of unheard of. This beautiful box was painted on papier-mache with the use of 24k gold leaf. The size of this museum quality piece is 4.5" x 3.25" x 0.75".
