This very unique and intriguing Russian lacquer box was painted by the Russian artist Smirnova M. A., from the village of Fedoskino. This box is titled "After Mucha" and is signed on the back by the artist. The theme of this box is based on the famous Czech artist Alphonse Mucha. Mucha had a very unique, Art Nouveau style of painting and he mainly painted women. This box is painted in a similar fashion. The size of this unique box is 7" x 3" x 1.25".
